Day 158 - Space!

 The final frontier!

We ordered, ages ago, a space vinyl wall sticker for our eldest who is hugely into space. It's finally here, and after quite a bit of sticking and re-peeling and re-sticking, it's up!

Day 157 - Back to the office

Back at work, but we still get in our evening walks where we can :)

Duckies!

And I rescued a moth from the bedroom and put it outside.

Day 156 - Sunday

A nice walk, and a fire!

Day 155 - Mini Golf!

Yes! Mini golf day is here, and it's Dinosaur and Viking themed (of course). Loved it!

T-Rex, he guards the bend, I also like the dino hand holding the curve up.

Rawr!

Here we have a Stegosaurus covered in Viking shields. Yes.

Dino footprint!

Viking shield next to a bone!

Pterodactyl! Although i seems to have a had a wing related incident.

Ankylosaur near an axe.

An OCtopus with a sword, because that's what they do here!

Veociraptor!

The Viking ship! You play one of the holes in the ship which is cool.

And lastly the Triceratops!

Day 154 - The Park

My youngest desperately wanted to go to the park, so we did! She loved it!

Day 153 - Grasshopper

A photo from my eldest daughter. She saw this on the glass door to the garden and grabbed her phone to take a photo :)

Day 152 - Wednesday Rainy Day

Rainy day here in the UK, but the kids enjoyed themselves on a walk earlier in the day!

Day 151 - Tuesday, working from home

Tuesday is my work from home day, I like these days. I get to nip down for lunch and see the kids. Plus there is no commute at all!

To save money after the holiday we're going to use a Christmas present to go to Dino Mini Golf at the weekend! Woo, booking it now!

Day 150 - Back at work

Back to work, time to catch up with all the emails!

But we went out for a walk in the evening, which is always nice.

And we saw this guy!

Day 148 + 149 - Saturday, back home on VJ Day

The holiday is over, boo, but it is the weekend. This weekend is VJ Day and we had a socially distant street party with drinks and chats across the street.

Plus some pogo!

Woo!

Day 147 - Friday! Our last full day.

We did a treasure trail walk today and a quick visit back to Lyme Regis to look at Mary Annings stained glass window and grave.

A view from Lyme Regis to Charmouth (located in the dip between the cliffs.

Another shot.

Looking back towards the Lyme Regis Cobb.

And back to Charmouth with some stunning sky.

Day 146 - Thursday. the week is going so fast! Visit to Lyme Regis.

We went to Lyme Regis today, and what lovely weather we still have! Although it did rain in the afternoon for about 30 minutes before returning to hot sunshine.

There was a cannon on display by some outside seating for restaurants and cafes.

Looking out towards the end of the Cobb.

Love their custom keep your distance stickers on the ground. There were also regular people feet and dog paws.

Looking across the beach towards the Cobb.

The weather came in, but it wasn't bad enough to see this military ship in the background.

Turns out is was the RFA Fort Victoria doing helicopter manoeuvres. This is usually an oil replenishment ships, so I'm not sure why there were 3 helicopters flying around.

Day 145 - River Cottage

We had arranged to go River Cottage owned by Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall for a walk around the farm and fresh, made in front of you, stone fired pizza! Yes!

The view walking down to the cottage, you can see it just shining white near the bottom.

Closer shot.

Blurry photo of the pizza going in.

Less blurry shot of it cooking.

Pigs!

They were enjoying a nice wallow.

And a good snuffle.

One of the vegetable gardens, which was lovely, especially standing next to the sprinkler.

A rear shot of part of the cottage by the vegetable garden.

Heading back to the car.

There was a wind turbine at the top, not sure what it powered.

Closer shot.

A final look at the view from the top of the hill before leaving.

Day 144 - Wildlife Park

Tuesday, and we went to Axe Wildlife Park in Axminster today!

A Goose!

Flamingos!

A more picturesque shot.

I forget what this is! But I  like it.

More flamingos.

Photobomb from a flamingo while taking a shot of flamingos.

These little guys were having a shout.

While this one was having a nap.

Lovely porcupine, we started having a conversation with each other using honks.

The meerkats were loving the hot weather.

Close up.

This one was inside by some glass eating all the trapped flies. Yum... I guess.

Some kind of wolf dog friend!

Another meerkat who looked adorable.

A nice dozing cat.

Wallaby!

I forget what this is, kind of a guinea pig bunny crossover.

Petting goats.

Zebras, who immediately after this photo did a huge wee!

Lovely little guy.

I love tortoises, this was a big one! I stroked his head.

A Lynx! We never see lynx's and this one was having a lovely sunbathe.

These emus got really close for photos.

A fishing cat! Lovely boy!

This little one was waiting to be fed.

There we go!

We had no idea who this was, but so lovely!

This Lemur was fast asleep until!

This one woke him up. Love his dopey tongue. I guess because he saw the camera because...

They quickly posed for a shot.

Or two.

Lizard!

And finally one last lizard friend.
